We have currently *two open positions* in the context of networking (Internet Architectures and Networking). The candidates will be involved in the European project ULOOP (http://uloop.eu)* and are expected to carry out both conceptual and experimental work in Wi-Fi testbeds, on OSI Layers *2* and *3*. Requirements: The candidates are expected to have: - an MSc degree OR a recent PhD degree (less than 3 years) in informatics engineering, information systems, or similar. - Adequate level of expertise concerning experimentation in pervasive environments - Good level in both written and spoken English. - Background in programming tools such as Java, C/C++. Our offer: - 1 year position, automatically renewable until August 31st 2013. - work in an exciting and international team. - integration into R&D from an Engineering perspective and getting to develop skills related to technology transfer. - Yearly income of circa 17k Euros netto for the MSc level - yearly income of circa 21k netto for a PhD level. - great working space including labs and demo room - Full support to disseminate results of your work, including patenting and technology transfer support.
