SITI is an R&D unit (Informatics Sciences) of the Schools of Arts,

We have currently *two open positions* in the context of networking 
(Internet Architectures and Networking). The candidates will be involved 
in the European project ULOOP (http://uloop.eu)* and are expected to 
carry out both conceptual and experimental work in Wi-Fi testbeds, on 
OSI Layers *2* and *3*.

Requirements:

The candidates are expected to have:

- an MSc degree OR a recent PhD degree (less than 3 years) in 
informatics engineering, information systems, or similar.
- Adequate level of expertise concerning experimentation in pervasive 
environments
- Good level in both written and spoken English.
- Background in programming tools such as Java, C/C++.

Our offer:

- Yearly income of circa 17k Euros netto for the MSc level
- yearly income of circa 21k netto for a PhD level.

Having been established in September 2010, SITI integrates an 
international team *20 associates, 8 PhDs, 7 PhD students in a total of 
14.5 Full-Time Equivalents) and is focused on three main lines of 
research: networking and systems; digital media; digital economy.
