Hi, all, I'm pleased to announced that last week the IEEE Communications Society (Comsoc) Board of Governors (BoG) approved my appointment as Director of Conference Operations effective Jan 2012; the term lasts 2 years.
I take the position currently held by Merrily Hartmann, who is now an at-large member of the ComSoc BoG. FYI, this does not affect my position as TCCC Chair; I plan to finish my current term (ending Sept 2012) as expected. Any COI issues will be handled by the other officers, should they arise.
