The extended abstract should describe the research problem, proposed solution and preliminary results. Three best student posters will be awarded cash prizes. Awards will be based on originality, content, paper and poster quality. Regular papers with student authors are also encouraged to enter the student poster session for prize competition. Student poster abstracts are not treated as regular technical papers. No copyright transfer is required for student poster papers. They will be included in the proceedings (on a CD-ROM), but will not be published through the IEEE Xplore digital library. The authors of all accepted student poster papers are required to prepare a poster for the symposium. Poster format: 4 ft horizontally and 3 ft vertically. Boards and thumbtacks will be provided. *IMPORTANT DATES* Poster submission deadline: Feb. 20, 2012 Notification of acceptance: Mar. 20, 2012 Camera-ready abstract: Apr. 1, 2012 Poster presentation session: May 22, 2012 *SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS* A 2-page extended abstract is required for submission.
