Postdoc Announcement The Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (DAI Labor) <www.dai-labor.de> at Technische Universität Berlin <www.tu-berlin.de> focuses on research and development with the goal of developing technologies for the next generation of smart services and distributed systems. Research at DAI Labor is being conducted within six Competence Centers and by a large team of more than 60 full-time researchers (10+ Post-Docs and 50+ PhD students) and 60 half-time undergraduate research assistants.
The Competence Center "Network and Mobility" is looking for a Post-Doctoral researcher to strengthen its position and further its goal to become a leading research group on the design and development of future Internet architecture and services. The candidate will be responsible for co-leading a team of 8 to 10 full-time researchers. Potential topics of interest include cognitive networks, content-centric networks, peer-to-peer and ad-hoc networks, mobile application frameworks, and electro-mobility services. The candidate will be jointly responsible for coordinating the activities of the competence center, including advising PhD candidates, managing projects, writing project proposals as well as communicating with national and international partners. Desired profile: . Ph.D. degree in computer science or a related discipline . Strong experience and broad know-how in network architectures and protocols . Maker and doer, used to take initiative, and a team player . Experience with project acquisitions (national / international) . Management skills .
