CALL FOR PAPERS: The 30th Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium (SBrT)
 
To be held from September 13-16, 2012 in Brasília, DF, Brazil

The Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium (SBrT) is widely recognized as 
the most important scientific, academic and technical forum for
telecommunications in Brazil. This year's event will take place in the
Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in the Brazilian capital, Brasília.

SBrT 2012 is oganized by The Brazilian Telecommunications Society, a
sister 
society of IEEE ComSoc (http://www.comsoc.org/about/SisterSocieties).
 
Authors are invited to submit original papers in one or more of the
following research areas:

Communications Theory
Computer Networks
Criptography and Security

Important Dates
 
    Submission deadline: 19th March 2012
    Notification of acceptance: June 15, 2012
    Final paper due: July 16, 2012
 
Papers can be submitted in two categories: full papers or undergraduate
project reports. The official language of the symposium is Portuguese, but
articles can be submitted and presented in English as well. Full papers
must be submitted in PDF format and should not exceed 5 pages. Accepted
papers shall be presented orally. The best symposium papers shall be
pre-selected for a special issue of the Journal of Communications
and Information Systems (JCIS). Undergraduate project reports should be
submitted in pdf format and should not exceed 2 pages. If accepted, they
shall be presented as posters. We also wellcome proposals for 4-hour
tutorials, that shall be held on the 13th September 2012. Authors of
approved tutorials will have their registration fees covered by the
organizing commitee (limited to one registration per tutorial).
