Call for Workshop Proposals The 14th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking (ICDCN 2013) will be held in Mumbai, India, January 3-6, 2013. In addition to the main technical program, the conference will also include selected workshops on exciting topics of current interest. The goal of the workshops is to explore emerging research topics in the areas of Internet technology, wireless sensor networks, mobile and pervasive distributed systems. More focused themes, such as internet of things, cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, and social networks, are also encouraged. Each workshop is expected to provide an informal forum for researchers to discuss emerging research topics and present early research results on these topics. We encourage workshop organizers to include invited talks from experts from academia and industry as part of the workshop program. We seek proposals from researchers interested in organizing one of these workshops. Workshop can be a half day or full day event, with 2 to 4 sessions. Workshop papers will not appear in main conference proceedings but will be a part of the proceedings CD. Please send your workshop proposal by email to workshop co-chairs. Workshop organizers are also encouraged to contact the workshop Co-chairs to discuss ideas/concerns. The workshop proposal, in plain text or PDF, should provide the following information: 1. Title of the workshop 2. Description and goals of the workshop 3. Names, addresses, and affiliations of workshop organizers 4. Proposed workshop format (expected number of papers, invited talks, panels, etc.) 5. Preferred length of time for the workshop Important dates: Workshop proposals submission time window: May 1 – June 15, 2012. Notification of acceptance: May 15 – June 30, 2012.
