*** Our apologies if you receive multiple copies of this CFP *** ================================================================== EURASIP Journal on Advanced Signal Processing Special Issue on Real-Time Multimedia Coding and Transmission ==================================================================
Let me kindly inform you that the guest editors of EURASIP ASP Special Issue on Real-Time Multimedia Coding and Transmission cordially invite you to submit a paper. The deadline for paper submission is scheduled for October 30, 2012. Please, find more information in the attachment. This special issue will cover all aspects related to multimedia (especially image and video) coding and transmission techniques, in particular those well suited for resource-constrained devices and applications with real-time temporal restrictions. Original papers describing completed and unpublished work not currently under review by any other journal, magazine, or conference are solicited. Specific topics include but are not limited to, the following: * Low complexity multimedia coding algorithms * Fast transform (DCT, Wavelet, etc.) algorithms * Coding algorithms for high-speed devices * Parallel algorithms for multimedia coding * Real-time video transmission Lead Guest Editor José A.
