SAFECNFIG 2012 Student Travel Grants _____
Application Deadline - September 27, 2012, 5:00, EST (Hard deadline) Notification - September 28 _____ The 5th Symposium on Configuration Analytics and Automation Collocated with the 8th Annual Security Automation Conference 2012 (SAFECONFIG'12) would like to encourage graduate student participation in the conference by subsizing the travel costs of individuals who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference and the collocated workshops. SAFECONFIG will be collocated with NIST/NSA Security Automation Conference (in Baltimore, Maryland). This event will give the participating students wide exposure to academic, government and industry research, and provide opportunities for research collaboration and internship. Who Should Apply IEEE SAFECONFIG will cover student registration costs and subsidize travel costs. IEEE SAFECONFIG travel grant will range from $250 to cover the registration fees to $700 to cover other expenses. The allocation will be based on both the student needs and availability of fund. Any graduate student in good standing, regardless of nationality, or any other criteria, except as noted, may apply. The decisions will be based as much as possible on both what the individual may get from the conference and may bring to the conference. Authors who have paper in SAFECONFIG 2012 are encouraged to apply. How to Apply Students should provide: 1. A statement of research from the student explaining the reason to attend IEEE SAFECONFIG. 2. Current CV. 3. Letter of support from the student's advisor confirming that the student is in good.
