ACM SIGMOBILE invites proposals for workshops/tutorials on technical areas related to wireless, sensor, mobile and ad hoc networking and computing, to be held at ACM Mobihoc, July 29-August 1, 2013, in Bangalore, India. ACM MobiHoc is the premier international symposium dedicated to addressing challenges emerging from wireless ad hoc networking and computing. Workshops at ACM Mobihoc strive to bring together leading researchers and industry experts, to showcase emerging topics in the broad area of networked systems. We aim to draw as much participation as possible in the workshop sessions, resulting in a high-quality interactive program to complement the main symposium. We especially welcome proposals in upcoming avenues of research such as social networking, content delivery networks, learning and inference in networks, cloud and data center networking, smart grids, green IT, security and vehicular networks, to name a few. As regards to format, each workshop/tutorial will be a day-long event comprising about 8-12 invited/contributed talks, with breaks as appropriate. The venue and basic support for registration will be provided by ACM Mobihoc. Apart from this, workshop organizers are free to tailor the sessions, topic(s) and structure of the workshop as they please. We ask that interested organizers design their workshop program to attract as wide an audience as possible. How to Apply: Please prepare a proposal with the name of the workshop/tutorial, its objectives and scope, the names and biographies of its organizers, a list of program committee members (as appropriate), a list of potential invited speakers, and the expected number of participants and submissions where appropriate. If the workshop has been conducted previously, please include all relevant details. Proposals should be sent to the Workshop Chairs by no later than *October 15, 2012.* ------------------------------ Workshop Chairs: Aditya Gopalan <[email protected]> and Krishna Jagannathan <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ IEEE Communications Society Tech.
