CALL FOR PAPERS Workshop on Dependability and Interoperability in Heterogeneous Clouds (DIHC13) http://dihc13.conferences.iit.cnr.it in conjunction with Euro-Par 2013 August 26-30, Aachen, Germany ******************************************************************************** SCOPE The cloud computing market is in rapid expansion due to the opportunities to dynamically allocate a large amount of resources when needed and to pay only for their effective usage. However, many challenges, in terms of interoperability, performance guarantee, and dependability, still need to be addressed to make cloud computing the right solution for companies, research organizations, and universities. The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from academia and industry interested in the design, implementation, and evaluation of services and mechanisms for dependable cloud computing in a multi-cloud environment. TOPICS OF INTEREST Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Service Level Agreements in clouds - Trust and reputation in cloud computing - Security and privacy aspects in cloud computing - Risk assessment and management in cloud computing - Availability of cloud services - Reliable cloud computing - Dependable performance for cloud applications - Federation of heterogeneous clouds - Interoperability - Resource Management - Business models for IaaS and PaaS - Cloud standards and best practices PAPER SUBMISSION Authors are invited to submit original papers, that have not been published in or submitted to other workshops, conferences or journals. Submitted papers must be written in English, formatted according to the LNCS guidelines, and they must not exceed 10 pages. Paper submission will be done through EasyChair (submission link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dihc13). At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the workshop to present the paper. The workshop proceedings will be published in Springer’s LNCS series (after the event).
