Apple: firmware update likely to make unlocked iPhones "permanently
inoperable"

In October 1971, phreaking was introduced to the masses when Esquire
Magazine published a story called "Secrets of the Little Blue Box" by
Ron Rosenbaum. This article featured Joybubbles and John Draper
prominently, synonymising their names with phreaking. The article also
attracted the interest of other soon-to-be phreaks, such as Steve
Wozniak and Steve Jobs who went on to found Apple Computer.

Once hackers and phreakers, now serious people that follow law.

ps: And for something completely different, in a portuguese show, "prĂ³s
e contras", Paulo Querido was owned by the show hostess and Paulo
Trezentos by Microsoft Director, the first one apparently got the wrong
program subjects and the second should stop with the pinch jokes about MSFT.
