I'm too suspicious in this subject, as I've been moving from companies
for the last 10 years of my life.
In my CV there's seven companies that I've worked for and some may say
that's terrible for career path, but others see it as a natural move in
growing up and building a stronger career, learning from different
sources, each one with their learning paths and, sure, bosses.

So, I've classified these two diferent career path approaches:
- - the ones that see it as a noun
they describe carreer as how they move steadily through an organization,
without hickups, step by step, in a pre-defined path.

- - the ones that see it as verb
like me, career is how we move from triumph to disaster (or vice-versa)
in different and unexpected ways across companies and countries. So we
call it careering, the natural way to learn from mistakes, to start all
over again, learning from different experiences, taking the oportunity
to see how companies work and how different they are.

For me, careering is a lot more fun that a simple career.
Altough, it's not the easy way, you'll have to find your place in the
new company every time you move, but you take the experience and
knowledge with you from the old one to the new one. It's like taking
career as an asset (verb) or as an passing "by the sea" experience
(noun). Judge me not, but this takes you every time you move to ground
zero, as a neverending learning experience and be careful, the grass is
always green on the other side of the fence, but, like I said, it's a
hell of a fun ride.

So, do you see it as verb or noun ? :)
