Sure I've lost my laptop, but the Murphy bastard didn't take all my files. In a last minute effort, I've managed to get the files from my laptop hard drive with rsync and it died (again) at the downloads directory (the last and bigger one). Uff!! Hell did freeze for me for a while :)
I said freeze ?... Yeah baby! Why? Are you now wondering ... Solution: put the disk a couple of hours in the freeze. You'll might get some minutes of disk life to get out the data you need.
