Microblogging or "chatting", as I call, is what Twitter does and it does nice and fast. You can just "post" what you're doing, has you're doing it, without any problems so kind. Easy and simple. Just the way that this blog is; Twitter is one IM message away, this blog is one email away.
In fact, twitter is more like an IRC/IM experience, you post something, someone reads and comments. You could reply then or just engage something with someone, publicly or privately. But twitter is no way for philosophers, that's where the blog "scene" enters. The more detailed, in-depth and pondered "life" should be at your (mine is) blog. Twitter is no diary, but more a task list.
