Already thanks for the suggestions received. I still get irregular hangs. This is what has been done since: -Installed Kernel 2.2.15, as I found some references about socket problems with 2.2.14... Seemed to be better, but still hangs. -Now, I just connected to the university's site, and it was blocked on httpd access... So I tried a netstat, and netstat also hung after 9 entries in the connected socket list. I tried netstat -n and got a complete listing. Then I checked the next entry (the 10th), and found 170.210.248.4. Nslookup gives a non-existing domain on the full IP, and other errors if trying to look up partial domains (eg 170.210). Now, can an error of this type hang tclhttpd?
