Scriptics is pleased to announce the prerelease availability of
TclBlend 1.2.5. We have worked with Mo DeJong to move the TclBlend
code base back into this Scriptics cvs repository. TclBlend 1.2.5
now includes a TEA-compliant makefile and supports Tcl/Tk 8.2.0+.

TclBlend 1.2.5 is planned for final release in the next few weeks.
Please download the source code from the Scriptics CVS repository
while bug reports and patches to the Scriptics bug database. We
would like to encourage patches to allow the makefiles to build Jacl
or to use JDK's other than from Sun Microsystems or IBM. We have also
only tested on Solaris and Windows NT.

Please see http://www.scriptics.com/products/tcltk/netcvs.html
for info on using NetCVS.

The TEA-compliant makefile is at the top-level of the TclBlend directory
tree. If you would like to use the old makefiles, they are located
in the win and unix subdirectories, as they were before. On Windows,
you must use the JDK 1.2.2+ with the TEA-compliant makefile.
If you need to use the JDK of 1.1, you must use the old Windows
makefile,
in the win subdirectory.
