I posted a note about this "possible feature" and asked for comments
but people did not seem to interested. It seems like that would be
a handy feature for the java::cast command to have, but it is not
in the 1.2.4 release. Since the 1.2 tree has been frozen, there will
be no new features going into 1.2. It will need to wait for 1.3 now.
