Yes, the tests run perfectly (including the JavaDefineClass test). The problem seems to be that some classes load fine, and others do not, even when the classes under question don't reference any other class not in tcl.lang and java.lang... I haven't managed to work out what the difference is between ones which work with defineclass and ones which don't.
