I tested out the classes you sent, and they both load perfectly
into my JDK 1.1.7 port from Blackdown on a Linux box. They
DO NOT load into a Sun JDK 1.1.8 running on a Windows box.
This looks like a Sun JVM bug to me. Could you try out the
IBM JDK for windows and see if you get the same error there?
If this is a Sun JDK bug, there is nothing I can do to fix it.
You will have to email Sun asking them why they produce such
buggy code.
