There is a JDJ article that covers programming languages for the JVM.
There is some discussion about the article at the JavaLobby.

Although the article mentions jacl, no one has mentioned jacl at the 
JavaLobby.
I thought it would be interesting to hear more about jacl. (some links to 
tutorial, why jacl is good, what I am doing with jacl, etc.)

So far there was only one jacl vote..... :o(     I think jacl is more popular 
than that!

JPython and NetRexx seem to be in the lead. My guess is that someone dropped 
a link on the JPython and NetRexx mailing list.... telling people to vote.
