I've seen this question asked before but with no answer.

I have a perl-tk application that runs fine in some computers but when I try to executed over one particular computer display, either locally or on another machine and exporting that display it gives me this error:

This list is not suitable for discussion of perl/Tk problems, it rather deals
with following CPAN modules:
 - Tcl
 - Tkx
 - Tcl::Tk

"b751b38 is not a hash at /usr/lib/perl5/Tk/MainWindow.pm line 55."

Not only my application has this problem. Some other system applications that use perl-tk give me the same error.

My take is that this particular computer has some special thing going on with its display that is not compatible with perl-tk.

Indeed this looks like some perl/Tk installation problem, but you still provide
insufficient information.

Write to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or even better go to www.perlmonks.org - very
helpful resource.

Best regards,
Vadim.
