I have reading about the Minnesota effort to reduce the property tax on Minnesota residents. I find one glaring question where did State Rep. Erik Paulsen come up with a 22% percent cut? Surely, he must have some justification for such deep cuts ( beyond populist opinion) and knowledge about where the state had the fat to trim! If anybody could show me where he thought the cuts would have to come from...without hurting education, road repair funds or health care funding I would be surprised!
State spending millions on light rail is risky when teachers are in classes with 30+ children! Has anyone heard of the Los Angeles Bus Riders Union?
I am for light rail in MN but at what cost? What would you be willing do to raise the quality of life in the Twin Cities? We have lowered the quality of many things for a tax cut few now enjoy!
