I have alot of respect for Peter Bell - and was pleased to see that moderates were included on the Met Council. They are going to be needed.
Meanwhile, Pawlenty's just unveiled transportation plan is just like the preview presented by Molnau - cut snow plowing to pay for new road construction. The City of Minneapolis is cutting Public Works (pothole repair and light signal maintenance) to pay for police and fire fighters. Anyway, folks might want to call the people on the Transportation policy and transportation funding committees in the house and senate to let them know that snow plowing is essential, and it doesn't need to be "delayed".
