Has anyone seen a factual comparison of salary and benefits for metro bus
drivers compared to other, similar lines of work?

I am wondering how bus driver compensation compares to a metro area UPS
driver, a greyhound driver or a tour bus operator ?

Also, when there are openings for bus driver positions, how many people
apply for each opening? How does that compare to the number of people
who apply for a Greyhound driver job?

I believe bus drivers should be paid fairly, but I haven't seen any news
articles that provide real comparative information. They usually focus on
what the union says, or what a particular politician says. It would be
nice to see some facts.
