Good afternoon,

I would save the AutoCAD files as WMF or some other format that works for
you and import them by reference rather than pasting them directly into
FrameMaker.

Subject: [TCP] image data in FrameMaker lost

Hey everybody,

I have been happily creating graphics all day today, copying and pasting
from AutoCAD files. Twice when I've saved, I got the message that not all of
my imported graphics were saved. I copy everything into a new document to
see which graphics didn't work, then copy and paste those pieces again. Most
of the time it's not a big deal because I'm just copying detail drawings
from the CAD files. But some of the things I'm working on have to be
modified, and I don't want to have to redo those.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there are way to stop it? I'm
using FrameMaker 7.0p579 and AutoCAD 2005 on Windows XP.

Thanks!
