I have lived in Minneapolis (and in the same house!) since I was eight. It doesn't snow now like it did then. We used to get at least two blizzards a winter, and we could be guaranteed snow cover from late November until early April. And the snowbanks along the driveway and street were often taller than me (and that's from when I had reached my whopping 5'4", so it's not because I was that much shorter). The snow started failing us in the early 1990s. It's been steadily getting warmer and drier over the winters. I got my snowshoes for Christmas 2000, and I haven't had deep enough snow to really enjoy them more than five times since then. The snowmobilers are so desperate they will drive across bare fields or take their machines way up north to where there is still snow. I hate it. I want a blizzard. I long to have to dig paths for my dachshund to get out into the yard. SEND SNOW!!! Nancy Kaminski ______________________________________________ Are you a Help Authoring Trainer or Consultant?
