If the road is closed after a snowfall, the ROAD needs to have a sign stating as such. How many people use maps for this information? I know I'd never think of that. Do GPS navigation systems contain that information? I have seen roads that have prominent signs that say they are closed under certain situations. Heck, in Wyoming, they put up barricades on the roads that are closed in winter so you can't accidentally put yourself in a dangerous situation. I live in Minnesota, so my car is well-supplied with emergency stuff. Blanket, spare polarfleece jacket/vest, rain poncho (plus there's usually a horse blanket back there headed for the laundry), chemical hand warmer packets, flashlight, emergency battery starter, and a stash of granola bars and chocolate. It's amazing what you can stash in a Mini Cooper. <g> Nancy Kaminski in sunny, 3F-degree Minneapolis ______________________________________________ Are you a Help Authoring Trainer or Consultant?
