Subject: [TCP] Introduce a list with colon + dash, history

When I was a lad, we used a colon plus dash to introduce a list.

<snip>

Anyone else taught that way? Why was it taught that way, what's the
history? Why was it discontinued? Am I losing my mind?

Cheers,

Sean
