My first thought was 'I can't ask Diane or Craig to help me with my workload'. After dozens of job interviews in my tech writer life, I'm now able to focus more on a company's potential and health as it relates to how much work I'll be assigned and what my future at a company might look like. Thinking back, jobs that I accepted where the interviewer who sounded lackluster or couldn't talk about projects that were 'coming down the pipe' usually led to work that didn't provide a lot of satisfaction. These same companies weren't positioned well in their respective sectors and industries, so I usually ended up asking for more work when a project was completed. As compared to companies who were flushed with new ideas and technologies. These companies never failed to keep me busy and extended my contracts several times. - Jim ______________________________________________ Author Help files and create printed documentation with Doc-To-Help.
