This is kind of a second career for me. Before and while I went back to school I worked at a nursing home. The pay sucked and the work was incredibly difficult, but there are still a lot of times that I miss it! I miss working and helping people in that direct of a manner. I miss the fun and even the sad stories that I came home with on a daily basis. My dream is to someday be able to do this on a freelance and more part time basis, and volunteer with the elderly more. I still get my dog to the neighborhood nursing home on occasion, but I would like to someday be in a situation where I could train people and dogs as therapy dogs for nursing homes..it is very rewarding!
That is cool that you think about going into nursing Donna. :) Melissa From: "Jones, Donna" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Subject: [TCP] Urge for a Career Change?
