None of the very top-tier business schools have public online programs
yet (Carnegie-Mellon's Tepper School of Business has a mostly-online
program that is only available to "partner businesses" - wow, I wish
they'd make it available to all applicants, as they have an absolutely
terrific program from a technical management point of view.)

However, once you get out of the Top 20 programs, you can take your
pick of good programs, ranging from the University of Indiana to Penn
State to East Carolina University to.... a bunch of diploma mills and
places you've never heard of.

BusinessWeek has a good guide to MBA programs that includes online
MBAs. Some content is free; they charge for the good stuff, but the
content is worth it IMO:

Two things to consider when looking for online MBA programs:

(1) The dirty little secret about distance learning is that most
people drop out of programs before completion--a much higher dropout
rate than for in-person education, and

(2) One of the chief benefits of going to get an "in-person" MBA: the
personal contacts that you make in the program. If there is a good
regional school with an "executive" (night/weekend) program near you,
strongly consider looking into that as well.

All best,

Barry
