Hi, guys...I'm the President of the NYMetro STC chapter and I'm looking to try something effective with the January meeting. If it works, I'll make it a regular part of each meeting.
You know how when you attend a chapter meeting, there is a period of time during which people register, network, and mill around, but before the food comes and the main program starts. In our case, this is 6pm to 7pm. I'd like to book a vendor sponsor for each meeting. You would be the only sponsor at that meeting and we would supply a table and electrical power..the room does not have Internet or phone. You can use the hour to present your product however you want to those who are there during the registration period. Bring in equipment if you want, brochures, etc. Think of it as a one-vendor show. Your logo would also be on the meeting notifications as sponsor that goes out to announce the meeting. We do two notifications per month of about 450 addresses (350 are members). We usually get 30-40 to a meeting, but the number has slowly been increasing. There would be a cost and we can discuss that.
