hi there , i'm having the following error when building libpcap 0.8.3 :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] make install
[ -d /usr/local/lib ] || \ (mkdir -p /usr/local/lib; chmod 755 /usr/local/lib)
/usr/bin/install -c -m 644 libpcap.a /usr/local/lib/libpcap.a
/usr/bin/install: cannot stat `libpcap.a': No such file or directory
make: *** [install] Error 1 ------------------------------------------
and this in the make install command as you have noticed after executing the following commands :
tar -zxvf libcap-0.8.3.tar.gz
cd libpcap-0.8.3
./configure
make
su root
make install
