TCPINDEX ======== Tcpindex captures packets from a LAN and indexes all of the strings from those packets in an inverted index so they can be efficiently searched using keywords. Think of it like a simple search engine for packets across the network.
Tcpindex was developed as an experiment in what applying search technology to packet capture might enabled. It is being released as open source in the hope that it is useful to some people and might inspire other interesting applications of network search.
