Most such signals are, naturally, not encoded in anything recognizable as
a tcp/ip protocol let alone any of the higher level protocols established
on top of that so the only intel initially gathered was a baseline
anthropic calibration of the annual likelyhood of the sudden demise of a
networked civilization.
