It should be, on at least some OSes; you may get a warning because it
couldn't get an IP address or netmask for it, which means that the "-f"
flag won't be able to figure out whether an address is "foreign", and
also means that checks in the capture filter for IP broadcast addresses
might not work, but other than that, it should work.
