The current CVS version, if you do "make tar", creates a tarball that
extracts into "tcpslice-1.2a1", with the "1.2a1" coming from the
"VERSION" file.
The current daily extracts to "tcpslice-2001.11.12".
I don't see any tcpslice beta snapshots if I go to
http:///www.tcpdump.org/beta/
Where did the "tcpslice-1.2.0-xxx.tar.gz" tarball come from?
