Hi, I have integrated into my application LIBPCAP (libpcap-0.6.2) and it is working well. I used the BPF filter feature in order to filter on the packets that I am interesting in.
I am now implementing some new features in my application which requires to change dynamically the filtering expression. I am invoking in my callback routine the "pcap_compile" and "pcap_setfilter" functions in order to modify the filter expression dynamically. When doing that, the system crashes each time. I wonder if it is supported by LIB PCAP ? I will really appreciate if somebody can help me on the subject. I would like to know if there is a way to do that and if somebody succeeds to make it working. Thank you for your help. Regards, Alain. - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
