Hi, I performed the following:
gtar -xzf libpcap* from a directory containing: libnet-1.0.2a-1snort.i386.rpm libpcap-0.6.2.tar.gz tcpdump-3.6.2.tar.gz I ran: ./configure Things seemed to be OK to this point after I modifed configure by adding a path statement: PATH=$PATH:/opt/sfw/bin I then tried ./gmake ;*** no target specified and no makefile found then gmake ./Makefile ; no error then gmake install ;*** No rule to make target `install'.
