Or, alternatively, to put the declarations of "bpf_validate()" and "bpf_filter()" in <net/bpf.h> inside the "BSD && (_KERNEL || KERNEL)" #if, so that they show up only in the kernel on BSDs, and have userland code use the declarations that are already in <pcap.h>? - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
