Dear Tcpdump/Libpcap Engineer,
I have current issue loading Libpcap on the Solaris 2.6 OS.
History:
HW Spec: Sun Enterprise 450 and Sun Ultra 5
SW Spec: Solaris 2.6
Step 1: Download Libpcap.tar.Z
Step 2: Uncompress libpcap.tar.Z
Step 3: Tar xf libpcap.tar
Step 4: cd libpcap-0.4 directory
Step 5: Error on command "./configure" . below error are the following?
creating cache ./config.cache
checking host system type ... Sparc-Sun-Solaris2.6
checking target system type ... Sparc-Sun-Solaris2.6
checking build system type ... Sparc-Sun-Solaris2.6
checking for gcc ... no
checking fo cc ... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
Question: Is there a recent version of Solaris 2.6 libpcap that can be found
on the web site www.tcpdump.org or any web address?
