Hello all, For the interested, there's new tcpdump 3.6.2's source rpm's available at: http://www.netcore.fi/pekkas/linux/tcpdump-3.6/tcpdump-3.6.2-1.src.rpm rpm --rebuild that to fit it in your Red Hat Linux environment. Works fine on RHL6x as well as RHL7. I haven't touched non-i386 parts, but I guess those should work too. This has been designed as a drop-in replacement, and very close in spirit to what kind of stuff RH puts out. It contains some patches of my own (all of them have been brought up in here AFAIK), but nothing earth-shattering. There's non-promisc mode patch as well, but it isn't compiled in by default. -- Pekka Savola "Tell me of difficulties surmounted, Netcore Oy not those you stumble over and fall" Systems. Networks.
