Just noticied at www.tcpdump.org a message about demand on
"binary/rpm" distribution, so here it is...
ftp://ftp.corpit.ru/~mjt/tcpdump/
Both binary and source rpms are here, together with .spec file.
Rpm is based on Redhat's one for tcpdump-3.4. Built on RedHat 7.0
with patches (should install also on 6.x with patches and especially
with patched rpm, but I can't verify this here), kernel 2.2.17.
I can regularily update this rpm if needed.
Unfortunately, tcpdump crashes on *one* of our machine with
segmentation fault (but this isn't related to rpm in any way) --
perhaps a problem inside tcpdump itself that needs to be solved
somehow...
Regards,
Michael.
