Hi,
When a TCP packet/segment comes to a machine how do we make sure that it goes to the
corresponding application AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. By setting the PUSH flag.
Is there an option to do that in linux.
I know that all berkely derived versions do that by default.
My problem is this. My machine is listening for a message over a TCP connection.
I also have another libpcap program running on the smae machine which tells at what
time libpcap got the packet.
That program sees the packet at time t0 and my listening application gets to at t0 +
t1 . t1 is around 10 ms.
I want to eliminate that 10 ms. Is it possible.
thanks a lot
Ashley
