Hi,
I'm ultimately trying to get ethereal on Solaris 2.8 working properly. However, when the capture period is finished, the application core dumps before displaying the captured packets.
So, I thought I'd check whether tcpdump was running properly. I get the following error:
voip2# /usr/local/sbin/tcpdump
ld.so.1: /usr/local/sbin/tcpdump: fatal: libcrypto.so.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
This libcrypto.so.0 is not installed on the unix box. I did install all other prerequisites of ethereal according to sunfreeware.com
voip2# pkginfo | grep gtk
application SMCgtk+ gtk+
voip2# pkginfo | grep libpcap
application SMClibp libpcap
voip2# pkginfo | grep glib
application SMCglib glib
I've had a quick look on the net but couldn't find much about libcrypto.
Can anyone help me?
Cheers,
Marc
