In my continued effort to make things as complicated as humanly possible and then document the hell out of it to make up for it, I've created my first video podcast!. In the first episode of Tcprecast!, I go over how to compile Tcpreplay from source, what options effect performance and how to get the the best performance possible on your system.
While I'll admit this probably isn't the most interesting topic, my goal was to get my feet wet with the tools and workflow involved while covering something in detail that not everyone may fully understand. I'd definitely appreciate any feedback (both good and what I need to improve on) so that future Tcprecast! episodes are better. Also, if you have any suggestions for topics you'd like me to cover, I'll try to put those higher on my to-do list. Check it out here: http://tcpreplay.synfin.net/tcprecast/ Thanks! Aaron P.S. I've submitted Tcprecast to iTunes podcast directory, but I've been told that it will take a few weeks before it's listed there. Until then, you can directly subscribe to Tcprecast's RSS feed in iTunes by clicking the RSS Podcast link on the website. -- Aaron Turner http://synfin.net/ http://tcpreplay.synfin.net/ - Pcap editing and replay tools for Unix & Windows Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. -- Benjamin Franklin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ Tcpreplay-users mailing list Tcpreplay-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tcpreplay-users Support Information: http://tcpreplay.synfin.net/trac/wiki/Support
