Hello,

I'm new to tcpreplay and am hoping I have an easy problem to solve. When I try
to replay a wireshark capture file (~20MB) that's 22 seconds in length and
consists of ~ 126k packets it's taking about twices as long (~45 secs) to
replay the file onto the network. I've tried setting the speed to 100M and it
still takes twice as long.

The rate of the capture is about 6 - 9 Mbps with a few microbusts of as much as
50Mbps. I don't believe it's a hw issue because if I use the topspeed option
the entire file (no packet loss) is transmitted in just over 2 secs @ a rate of
~60Mbps.

I'm hoping I'm doing something stupid and I'll be able to replay it at the same
speed it was captured. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Richard
