The traffic is fully TCP traffic, with some UDP packets (DNS queries and
responses).

Src ip and dst ip's are always between the NAT box ip and the server ip in the
internet. ex: src ip=10.2.12.156 ; dst ip= 203.22.15.75 (dst ip changes based
on the server available in the internet).

I am replaying this traffic without making any changes using tcpreplay tools.
This scenario is ok?? or I need to do any changes in the way the traffic gets
replayed??.

S. Senthil kumar

setup

What kind of traffic? You know TCP traffic won't work right? Also, have you
verified the src/dst IP and MAC addresses of the packets match up to something
the NAT gateway will accept? Ie: the correct dst IP/MAC (needs to be the
interface of the NAT box tcpreplay is
facing) and the source IP is in the right subnet (so routing works).

Been a while since I played with iptables, but you should look in the log files
and see how the packets are being processed.
