Hi I hit a similar problem with the cisco mac controls . I had to use an
ethernet hub (1000 mbps ) / direct cat 6 cable (1g) in the end to achieve
the throughput

The switch was dumping / blocking 80% of the generated traffic

Subject: Re: [Tcpreplay-users] TCPReplay vis Managed Switch

Sounds like your switch isn't forwarding the packets because it doesn't
believe they should be delivered to the port your listening server is on
because the destination MAC address isn't on that port.
Hence, you'd need to rewrite the packets (tcprewrite) to change the dst mac.

Ethernet frames. I am facing a problem. The TCPReplay communication is not
reaching the destination. But if the TCPReplay Computer is connected to
Destination with a direct cable it works perfect with out any loss. Please
let me know what I am missing. IS there any additional configuration in need
to do in the switch?
