Some units had a full range of mental health services others did not. Those that did not gave the pilots R&R and sent them back into active service. They were much better of than the ones who received
the help. Many in that group had long term problems.
That is why the Durkheim separating out of the primitive/mechanical vs the organic is so important. The Glass study also fits into the core theory of sociology as well as the fMRI and PET scan studies. The brain is social in that it is governed by the
